Statement
Throughout my life, I always remembered being drawn towards the screen. Whether it be TV or movies I found the stories within animation to be completely entrancing. It wasn’t until high school that I started to understand that I wanted to create stories like the ones I saw portrayed on screen. So I decided to become more serious about art, taking more art center classes within high school and then getting my associate’s degree in 3D animation. Was coming here to Rutgers can finish my bachelor’s degree in animation. While here I was able to collaborate with multiple great artists to try and get as much out of the schools possible. I became president of the Animation Alliance, where I was able to bring people together to create media together and hone our skills, and where i learned I love bringing people together to work toward a goal.
Since starting at the school I mean one word has truly captured my experience while studying here, and that would be collaboration. Throughout my time here at Rutgers I have learned that the best way to go through the animation pipeline is with the help and Aid of others. Regardless of anything they were trying to do, it is important to remember that your goal is always achievable but you may also need help along the way. Which is why I am so happy that I was able to make a lot of friends along the way to graduation including Nick Hirsch, Orion Smith, and Nic Suarez.
