Statement

My work has explored the theme of visual and conceptual patterns in design ranging from branding, advertising, and print design. My approach to design often mixes skills and techniques that I have learned and applied through painting. Using patterns in my designs I have been able to combine painting and graphic design together to create designs that are both visually appealing and stay true to design hierarchy. My background and identity as Latinx has guided my interests in both design and painting during my time at Rutgers University–Camden.
