Artist Statement

I approach architecture as more than just walls and roofs; it’s a kind of visual language, full of expression. With my camera, I zero in on specific details: pillars, windows, sharp triangles, zigzag façades. I love twisting the perspective, cropping in tight, really pushing the geometry, and catching these elements at odd angles. The result? Buildings lose their usual function and start to feel like sculptures. My photos aren’t interested in showing you a location. What I want is to capture architectural shapes stripped of context so they feel emotional, atmospheric, almost mysterious. Suddenly, a row of pillars isn’t just holding up a roof; it’s a rhythm playing across the image. A window turns into a whole field of light. A tilted façade becomes something unstable and weightless. When you shift the usual viewpoint, these everyday structures adopt new identities, sitting somewhere between what they are and pure abstraction. Ultimately, I’m inviting you to see the built world differently, not as something permanent or just practical, but as a collection of lines, shadows, and spatial tension. By playing with perspective and framing each shot carefully, I turn architecture from structure into art and transform space into an experience.
