Biography
I am a visual problem-solver with a unique blend of creativity, discipline, and technical expertise. Currently expecting to graduate from Rutgers University in May of 2025.
My diverse experiences transitioning from a radio communicator in the U.S. Marine Corps to a visual communicator by pursuing my BFA in graphic design has shaped me into a designer who thrives under pressure, adapts quickly, and delivers impactful and high-level digital and printed designs.
Statement
I define war as the never-ending cycle of violence and survival that all forms of life strive to master. Through digital and printed works, my practice explores war from a tactical perspective by focusing on three basic tactics in war: ambush, flanking and communication encryption/disruption. My process includes extensive research on information relating to warfare, its effects and parallels to nature. As the viewer engages with my work, they might question why every living creature seems to be biologically programmed to “fight” for resources and survival in some form or fashion.
